Description
CVE-2026-20593 is a vulnerability in MediaTek chipsets that causes a reachable assertion failure in the modem component due to improper input validation. This flaw can lead to an application crash resulting in a remote denial of service (DoS) if a user equipment (UE) connects to a rogue base station controlled by an attacker. Exploitation does not require user interaction or additional execution privileges.
