A fix for this vulnerability is available and has been applied in specific Linux kernel commits. Users should update their Linux kernel to a version that includes these fixes to resolve the issue. No additional mitigation steps are indicated.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's DAMON sysfs interface causes subdirectories under the attrs/ directory to not be cleaned up if context directory setup fails. This results in a near breakage of the DAMON sysfs interface until system reboot and causes a memory leak due to unremoved directories.
