AI-suggested
A patch is available and should be applied by updating the Linux kernel to versions 6.8.0 or later (and corresponding patched builds). After applying the update, a system reboot is required to activate the fix. Due to an ABI change, third-party kernel modules must be recompiled and reinstalled. Follow the vendor's update instructions carefully to ensure full remediation.
Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/imagination: Fix deadlock in soft reset sequence The soft reset sequence is currently executed from the threaded IRQ handler, hence it cannot call disable_irq() which internally waits for IRQ handlers, i.e. itself, to complete. Use disable_irq_nosync() during a soft reset instead.
