Until a fix is available, consider limiting or monitoring SUBSCRIBE command usage patterns or applying network-level controls to restrict unauthenticated client connections if feasible.
Description
Stomper 5e2741e contains a use-after-free vulnerability triggered when a client repeatedly issues SUBSCRIBE commands for the same destination over one connection and then closes it. This improper cleanup of internal subscription structures causes a heap use-after-free during client destruction, leading to a broker crash. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this to cause a denial of service.
