What to do
AI-suggested
Until a fix is available, consider implementing network-level protections to limit exposure to untrusted clients sending malformed SEND frames. Monitor for crashes and restart the service as needed.
Description
CVE-2026-26449 is a high-severity vulnerability in Stomper 5e2741e where sending a SEND frame without the destination header causes the server to dereference a null pointer, leading to a crash. This results in a denial of service condition. No patch or official remediation guidance is currently available.
