AI-suggested

A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel by hardening the depth calculation functions to use 64-bit sizes for all calculations and boundary checks. Users should update to the fixed kernel versions identified by the commits e37afcb56ae070477741fe2d6e61fc0c542cce2d, cbd852f5700eb3f64392452faf693ac45cae8281, and 3f08351de5ca4f2f724b86ad252fbc21289467e1. No additional mitigation steps are indicated.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA/irdma subsystem allowed integer overflow and truncation in depth calculations for SQ/RQ/SRQ sizes when the OS passed U32_MAX. This could cause the system to incorrectly return success for invalid sizes. The issue has been fixed by hardening the depth calculation functions to use 64-bit sizes for boundary checking.
