AI-suggested

A fix is available and has been applied in Linux kernel versions 5.15.203, 6.1.168, 6.4, and corresponding commits. Users should upgrade to these or later kernel versions to resolve the deadlock issue. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official fix.

Description

A deadlock vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA/irdma driver was fixed. The issue occurred during a netdev reset when RDMA applications with active connections were running, causing a circular dependency and indefinite wait in iWARP mode. The fix skips waiting on the QP reference count during device reset to prevent the deadlock.
