Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-34034 is an OS command injection vulnerability (CWE-78) in coollabsio's Coolify product. The sentinel_token setting is incorporated into shell commands without proper sanitization, enabling an authenticated user with access to server Sentinel settings to execute arbitrary commands on the host system during Sentinel restart. This issue affects versions prior to 4.0.0-beta.466 and is resolved in that version.

Potential Impact

An authenticated user with access to Sentinel settings can execute arbitrary OS commands on the host, leading to full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected system. The CVSS 3.1 score is 8.8 (high), reflecting network attack vector, low attack complexity, required privileges, no user interaction, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade to version 4.0.0-beta.466 or later, where the vulnerability is fixed. No other official remediation or temporary fixes are indicated. Until upgrade, restrict access to Sentinel settings to trusted users only to reduce risk.
