Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-35146 describes an unencrypted communication vulnerability in HCLSoftware's DFXServer product. The application permits connections over the HTTP protocol without encryption, enabling remote attackers to intercept network traffic and potentially access sensitive information transmitted between users and the server. The vulnerability is categorized under CWE-326 (Inadequate Encryption Strength). There is no vendor advisory or patch information available at this time, and no known exploits have been reported in the wild.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows remote attackers to intercept and potentially disclose sensitive data transmitted between users and the DFXServer due to the use of unencrypted HTTP connections.
