Until an official fix is available, users should consider restricting access to the vulnerable component and avoid running untrusted input through the ExecTool component. Monitor vendor channels for updates regarding patches or official mitigations.
Description
picoclaw versions up to and including 0.1.2 contain an OS command injection vulnerability in the ExecTool component. The vulnerability arises because the guardCommand() function uses an incomplete denylist of regular expressions to restrict shell command execution, allowing potentially malicious commands to be executed. This vulnerability has a high severity rating with a CVSS score of 7.3. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available, and no known exploits have been reported in the wild.
