What to do

Until a fix is available, affected devices should be monitored for unusual HTTP traffic patterns and physical access should be controlled to allow power cycling if needed. Network-level protections such as filtering or rate limiting incomplete HTTP requests may help reduce exposure.
Description
The Mercusys AC12G (EU) V1 router with firmware version AC12G(EU)_V1_200909 is vulnerable to a denial of service attack via a small number of crafted incomplete HTTP requests. This causes the device to crash persistently, requiring a physical power cycle to recover. The vulnerability is classified under CWE-400 (Uncontrolled Resource Consumption).
