Description

CVE-2026-38472 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the GazellePW (GazellePosterWall) forum software. It occurs in the forum reward comments feature, where an attacker can inject arbitrary JavaScript code via the 'c' parameter in the /forums.php?action=ajax_get_jf endpoint. This injected script is later rendered in the data-tooltip attribute on the /forums.php?action=viewthread page and executed by the Tooltipster library. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute script in the context of users viewing the affected forum thread.
