Until a fix is available, restrict access to the back office and avoid reviewing untrusted comments. Monitor vendor channels for updates and apply official patches once released.
Description
The xipblog module version 2.0.1 and earlier for PrestaShop contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Unauthenticated remote attackers can inject arbitrary JavaScript via the name and content parameters in ajax.php. The injected script is stored in the database without HTML sanitization and rendered without output escaping in Smarty templates. When an administrator views comments in the back office, the malicious script executes with admin-level privileges, potentially leading to full store compromise.
