AI-suggested

Upgrade Chartbrew to version 5.0.0 or later, where this authorization bypass vulnerability has been fixed. No other mitigation is required as the vendor has provided an official fix.

Description

Chartbrew version 4.9.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated users with access to one project to modify sharing policies of other projects. This flaw arises because the application authorizes users based on the project in the URL but does not verify that the policy being modified belongs to that project. The vulnerability permits unauthorized updates or deletions of SharePolicy records, affecting dashboard sharing rules such as visibility and password requirements. The issue is fixed in version 5.0.0.
