AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, restrict local access to trusted users and avoid opening untrusted DDS files with the AMD Compressionator SDK. Monitor AMD's official channels for updates and patches.

Description

An integer overflow condition in the AMD Compressonator SDK could allow an attacker with local access to supply a specially crafted DirectDraw Surface (DDS) file, potentially resulting in denial of service (DoS).
