An official fix is available that rejects sleepable kprobe_multi BPF programs at attach time. Users should apply the vendor-provided kernel updates to versions >=7.0.0-1006.6 to remediate this issue.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's BPF subsystem allowed sleepable kprobe_multi programs to be attached in contexts where sleeping is not permitted, causing kernel crashes. This was due to missing validation of the sleepable flag during program attachment. The issue has been fixed by rejecting such programs early in the attachment process.
