What to do

AI-suggested

A fix for this vulnerability has been implemented in the Linux kernel. Users should apply the official kernel update that includes this patch to resolve the BQL accounting issue. No additional mitigation steps are indicated.

Description

CVE-2026-43031 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Xilinx axienet network driver related to Byte Queue Limits (BQL) accounting for multi-buffer descriptor (multi-BD) transmit packets. The issue causes the BQL to incorrectly track bytes in flight when a transmit packet spans multiple buffer descriptors and completes across different NAPI polls, leading to a stall in the transmit queue.
