What to do
AI-suggested
A fix is available that copies the received packet data correctly into the skb and removes the improper skb recycling call. Users should apply the official Linux kernel patches that address this issue. Since this is a kernel vulnerability, upgrading to a patched kernel version is the recommended remediation.
Description
A critical vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net: ti: icssg-prueth driver was fixed to address missing data copying and incorrect recycling in zero-copy (ZC) RX dispatch. The flaw caused the network stack to pass uninitialized kernel heap memory to userspace, leaking sensitive data. Additionally, improper skb recycling could corrupt kernel memory management structures.
