A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel versions identified by the provided commit hashes. Users and administrators should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes to remediate the vulnerability.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's crypto subsystem (algif_aead) involved an incorrect minimum receive buffer size check during decryption. The check did not account for the tag size, potentially causing improper handling of decryption buffers. This issue has been fixed by adding the required extra length to the size check.
