AI-suggested

A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel source as indicated by multiple fixed commit versions. Users should update their Linux kernel to a version including these fixes to remediate the vulnerability.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter nfnetlink_log subsystem caused uninitialized nfgenmsg data to be included in NLMSG_DONE messages when batching multiple NFLOG messages. This leads to leakage of four bytes of stale kernel heap data to userspace. The issue is fixed by properly initializing the nfgenmsg payload in the NLMSG_DONE terminator.
