Description
CVE-2026-43249 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's 9p/xen subsystem. It involves a race condition where the xenwatch thread can concurrently call xen_9pfs_front_free(), leading to a double-free and a general protection fault (crash). The flaw has been fixed by guarding the teardown path to ensure only one caller can release the front-end state at a time, preventing the crash.
