A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel source code as indicated by the fixed commit hashes. Users should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes. Since this is not a cloud service, manual patching is required.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's TPM driver for Infineon TPM chips (tpm_i2c_infineon) was fixed to address a locality leak occurring on get_burstcount() failure. The function get_burstcount() can return -EBUSY on timeout, causing the function to return without releasing the acquired locality, potentially leading to resource leakage.
