A fix for this vulnerability is available as it has been resolved in the Linux kernel. Users should apply the updated kernel versions that include the fix. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor advisory.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC nau8821 driver could cause a kernel crash when unloading the driver while jack detection work is still pending. This occurs because the delayed work is not properly canceled or waited on before component removal, leading to a page fault and kernel crash.
