A patch is available and has been released by the vendor. Users should update to the fixed Linux kernel versions as provided in the vendor advisory. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official fix.

Description

A memory leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD GPU driver (amdgpu) was fixed. The issue occurred when the function amdgpu_nbio_ras_sw_init() failed during initialization, causing allocated memory not to be freed properly. This flaw was identified through static analysis and code review and has been addressed in updated kernel versions.
