A patch is available and should be applied to affected Linux kernel versions. The vendor advisory from Ubuntu confirms that this issue is fixed in updated kernel releases. Users should update their Linux kernel packages to the fixed versions provided by their distribution to resolve this vulnerability.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NFS server daemon (nfsd) was resolved that caused certain NFSv4 requests to be improperly deferred during idmap lookup. This deferral led to session slot flags not being cleared, causing subsequent client requests to fail with NFSERR_JUKEBOX errors. The issue was fixed by ensuring the deferral flag is never set during compound argument decoding for NFSv4 requests.
