Technical Analysis

This vulnerability affects Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools, specifically versions 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.26.2. It is an easily exploitable flaw that allows unauthenticated attackers with network access over HTTP to compromise the system, resulting in full takeover of the product. The CVSS 3.1 base score is 9.8, indicating critical severity with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Oracle has published this vulnerability as part of its June 2026 Critical Security Patch Update, which includes patches for this and other vulnerabilities across multiple Oracle products. The advisory strongly recommends applying the patches without delay. Workarounds such as blocking network protocols or removing unnecessary privileges may reduce risk temporarily but could disrupt normal operations.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to fully compromise JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools. This results in complete loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected system, effectively enabling takeover of the product.

Mitigation Recommendations

Oracle has released patches for this vulnerability as part of the June 2026 Critical Security Patch Update. Customers should apply these security patches as soon as possible to remediate the vulnerability. Until patches are applied, risk may be reduced by blocking network protocols required for exploitation or by removing unnecessary privileges from users, though these measures may impact application functionality. Patch status is confirmed as available via the Oracle advisory at https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspujun2026.html.
