Technical Analysis

This vulnerability in the NVIDIA GeForce GPU Display Driver arises from improper input validation in the kernel mode layer. An attacker with high privileges could exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code, cause denial of service, escalate privileges, disclose sensitive information, or tamper with data. The CVSS 3.1 vector indicates local attack vector, low attack complexity, high privileges required, no user interaction, unchanged scope, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation may result in code execution, denial of service, privilege escalation, information disclosure, and data tampering on affected systems running the NVIDIA GeForce GPU Display Driver. The attacker requires high privileges and local access to exploit this vulnerability.

Mitigation Recommendations
