Upgrade liboqs to version 0.16.0 or later, where this issue is fixed. No other mitigation is required.
Description
A vulnerability in liboqs prior to version 0.16.0 allows an uninitialized function pointer dereference in the OQS_KEM_encaps_derand function for certain NTRU KEM schemes. This can cause a calling-process crash and denial of service if the affected function is invoked on one of the six specified NTRU KEMs. The issue is fixed in version 0.16.0.
