Published: 09/24/2026 (09/24/2026, 19:31:13 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: krayin
Product: laravel-crm

Description

Krayin CRM through 2.2.6 contains a stored client-side template injection vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in other users' browsers by injecting Vue.js template expressions into the person name field. Attackers can craft a person name containing double-brace template syntax that reaches the Vue template compiler, enabling prototype chain traversal to retrieve the Function constructor and execute attacker-supplied JavaScript in the application origin for every user who views the affected person record.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-48541 is a stored client-side template injection vulnerability in Krayin laravel-crm through version 2.2.6. The flaw arises from improper neutralization of input during web page generation, specifically in the person name field. Attackers with authentication can inject Vue.js double-brace template syntax that reaches the Vue template compiler, enabling prototype chain traversal to access the Function constructor and execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the application origin for every user who views the compromised person record.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the browsers of other users who view the affected person record. This can lead to session hijacking, data theft, or other malicious actions within the context of the application. The vulnerability requires authentication and user interaction (viewing the record).

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a patch is available, restrict access to trusted users and avoid entering untrusted input into the person name field. Monitor vendor communications for an official fix.
