Description

CVE-2026-48705 is a critical vulnerability in the MONAI AI toolkit for healthcare imaging. Versions prior to 1.6.1 improperly validate non-finite values in certain DICOM metadata fields, allowing crafted inputs to cause inference failures, persistent datastore corruption, or geometrically corrupted results. The issue is fixed in version 1.6.1.
