Until an official fix is available, restrict access to the HTTP tutorbot file route and implement network-level controls to prevent unauthorized access. Monitor for unusual activity related to bot file modifications.
Description
deeptutor version 1.4.0 contains a critical authorization bypass vulnerability in the TutorBotManager.write_bot_file function. This flaw allows a remote attacker to enumerate bot IDs and overwrite whitelisted control files of other bots via the HTTP tutorbot file route. The vulnerability enables unauthorized modification of sensitive files without authentication.
