Description
CVE-2026-52905 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mm/damon/core subsystem where the damon_start() function allowed non-power-of-two minimum region sizes, leading to unaligned DAMON region address ranges. This flaw was introduced by a commit that added damon_ctx->min_sz_region but was only partially fixed for damon_commit_ctx(). The vulnerability was corrected by adding a power-of-two check on damon_start().
