AI-suggested
A patch is available that fixes this issue by reordering the initialization sequence to power on the controller core before accessing DBI registers. Users should apply the official Linux kernel updates that include this fix. The Ubuntu advisory USN-8566-1 confirms this fix is included in updated kernel releases.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's PCI subsystem for the Tegra194 platform causes a Control Backbone (CBB) timeout due to accessing DBI registers before the controller core is powered on. This occurs when the PERST# signal is deasserted twice, triggering a sequence where DBI register access happens prematurely. The issue has been fixed by reordering the calls to ensure the controller core is powered on before any DBI register access.
