What to do
AI-suggested
A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel to add bounds checking for firmware runtime memory in the accel/ivpu driver. Users should apply the official Linux kernel updates that include this patch once available. Patch status is not explicitly confirmed in the provided data; therefore, check the vendor advisory or Linux kernel mailing lists for the current remediation guidance.
Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/ivpu: Add bounds check for firmware runtime memory Validate that the firmware runtime memory specified in the image header is properly aligned and sized to hold the firmware image. This prevents errors during memory allocation and image transfer.
