A fix is available in Linux kernel versions 7.0.0-31.31 and later as listed. Users should upgrade to these fixed versions to resolve the vulnerability. No additional mitigations are specified or required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's rockchip GPIO driver caused a resource leak of generic IRQ chips on driver removal. This leak could lead to use-after-free conditions and kernel crashes due to callbacks accessing freed memory. The issue has been fixed by explicitly removing generic chips before the IRQ domain is removed. Multiple Linux kernel versions are affected, and fixes are available in Linux kernel 7.0.0 releases.
