AI-suggested

A fix is available and has been released in Linux kernel versions 7.0.0-28.28~24.04.1 and later variants listed in the fixedVersions. Users should update to these fixed kernel versions to remediate the issue. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official patch.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Microsoft Azure Network Adapter (MANA) driver could cause a kernel panic due to a double invocation of the mana_remove() function when power management resume fails. This occurs because mana_remove() is called twice without proper NULL checks, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. The issue has been fixed by adding guards to prevent the second invocation from causing a crash.
