AI-suggested

Upgrade InvoicePlane to version 1.7.2-beta-1 or later, where the authorization checks for guest users have been properly implemented to restrict quote actions to assigned clients. No other mitigations are indicated by the vendor advisory.

Description

InvoicePlane versions prior to 1.7.2-beta-1 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability allowing guest users to approve or reject quotes belonging to clients other than their own. The flaw arises because certain methods in the Guest Quotes controller do not properly restrict actions to the guest user's assigned clients. This enables unauthorized modification of quote statuses and marking quotes as viewed. The issue is fixed in version 1.7.2-beta-1 and later.
