Until a fix is available, restrict issuance and use of app-scoped all API keys to trusted parties only and monitor access to the app_versions table to detect unauthorized modifications.
Description
CVE-2026-56217 is a policy bypass vulnerability in Capgo versions before 12.128.2. It allows attackers with app-scoped all API keys to downgrade encrypted bundles to a non-encrypted state by directly updating the app_versions table via PostgREST. This bypasses organization-enforced encrypted-bundle policies and weakens over-the-air (OTA) security controls.
