Technical Analysis

This vulnerability affects Oracle iStore versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 and permits a high privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. The CVSS 3.1 vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H) indicates network attack vector, low attack complexity, high privileges required, no user interaction, unchanged scope, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The vulnerability is categorized under CWE-284 (Improper Access Control). Oracle's July 2026 Critical Patch Update advisory lists numerous patches across products but does not explicitly confirm a patch for this vulnerability in the provided excerpt. Customers are strongly advised to apply available patches promptly to mitigate risks.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation can lead to complete compromise of Oracle iStore, affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system. This could allow an attacker to take over Oracle iStore, potentially leading to unauthorized access, data manipulation, and service disruption.

Mitigation Recommendations

Oracle has released a Critical Patch Update in July 2026 covering multiple vulnerabilities. Although the advisory does not explicitly confirm a patch for CVE-2026-60813, customers should review the July 2026 Critical Patch Update documentation and apply all relevant patches for Oracle iStore versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 without delay. Oracle strongly recommends remaining on actively supported versions and promptly applying security patches to mitigate this vulnerability.
