AI-suggested

Upgrade to AVideo-Encoder version 8.1.0 or later, where the missing authentication issue is fixed. No other mitigation is required as the vendor has provided an official fix.

Description

AVideo-Encoder versions prior to 8.1.0 suffer from missing authentication on critical PHP endpoints related to encoder control and status. This allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the encoding queue, access streamer URLs, obtain server memory statistics, and enumerate media file names and paths accessible to the web server user. The vulnerability is fixed in version 8.1.0.
