Description

CVE-2026-62298 is a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the mouse07410 ASN.1 compiler (asn1c) prior to version 1.2.5. The flaw occurs during OPEN TYPE decoding in multiple functions handling different encoding rules (APER, BER, OER, UPER). An unallocated member pointer can be dereferenced, causing a segmentation fault and crashing the consuming program. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.5.
