Published: 10/13/2026 (10/13/2026, 19:36:31 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: Omnispace
Product: Agora Project

Description

Omnispace Agora Project versions prior to 26.10.0 contain a critical code injection vulnerability. During installation, attacker-controlled input is improperly escaped and written into the config.inc.php file, combined with an SQL injection vulnerability that allows re-triggering the installer. This enables unauthenticated remote code execution on the system hosting the application.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-63146 affects Omnispace Agora Project before version 26.10.0. The vulnerability arises from improper control over code generation during installation, where unescaped attacker-controlled values are written into the config.inc.php configuration file via File::updateConfigFile() and DbInstall::dbControl(). An SQL injection vulnerability is also present due to PDO::ATTR_EMULATE_PREPARES allowing stacked queries. Exploiting the SQL injection can re-trigger the installer and inject arbitrary PHP code into config.inc.php, resulting in unauthenticated remote code execution on the underlying system.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code remotely on the server running the vulnerable Omnispace Agora Project installation. This can lead to full system compromise, data theft, or further attacks within the environment.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, avoid exposing the installation interface to untrusted networks and monitor for suspicious installer re-triggering activity.
