Technical Analysis

Omnispace Agora Project prior to version 26.10.0 contains a SQL identifier injection vulnerability. This flaw occurs because the application fails to properly validate caller-controlled agoraFields[] names used as SQL column identifiers during the user import flow. Exploiting this, a space administrator can inject privileged column names or use backtick-injection techniques to escalate privileges to general administrator level.

Potential Impact

An attacker with space administrator privileges can exploit this vulnerability to escalate their privileges to general administrator by injecting unauthorized SQL identifiers. This results in unauthorized administrative access within the Agora Project environment, potentially compromising the integrity and security of the system.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict space administrator privileges to trusted users only and monitor user import activities closely to detect suspicious input patterns.
