Upgrade Huginn to version 2026.09.09 or later, where this SSRF vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is required as the vulnerability is addressed by the official patch.
Description
Huginn versions before 2026.09.09 contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the fetch_url method of ScenarioImport. This flaw allows authenticated users to craft URLs that trigger arbitrary HTTP requests from the server. Exploitation can lead to probing of internal network services, port enumeration through error messages, and access to cloud metadata endpoints, potentially exposing sensitive credentials. The vulnerability has a CVSS 4.0 score of 6.3 (medium severity). A fix is available in version 2026.09.09.
