AI-suggested

A patch is available and has been released by Ubuntu in updated Linux kernel packages for the hardware enablement (HWE) and OEM kernels. Users should update their systems to the fixed kernel versions listed in the Ubuntu security advisories USN-8726-1 and USN-8727-1 and reboot to apply the changes. Due to an ABI change, recompilation and reinstallation of third-party kernel modules may be required. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: add wcid publish check in mt76_sta_add Since mt7925_mac_sta_add publishes wcid, add publish check in mt76_sta_add to avoid reinitializing the wcid->poll_list. Found dev->sta_poll_list corruption when using mt7925 and 7.1-rc4.
