What to do

AI-suggested

A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel to add the missing sanity check. Users should update to the fixed kernel version once available. Since no vendor advisory or patch links are provided, check the official Linux kernel repositories or vendor advisories for the exact fixed versions and apply updates accordingly.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel USB serial driver for Keyspan devices (usa49wg) was fixed by adding a missing sanity check on the size of indat transfers. This prevents the kernel from parsing stale or uninitialized slab data.
