What to do

AI-suggested

A fix for this vulnerability has been applied in the Linux kernel source code by correcting the boundary check condition. Users should update to the fixed kernel version once available. No additional mitigation is indicated.

Description

A boundary check flaw in the Linux kernel's atmel_mxt_ts driver caused an off-by-one error when processing configuration data. This error allowed one byte beyond the intended object size to be written, potentially overwriting adjacent memory. The issue was fixed by correcting the boundary condition to properly skip extra bytes.
