A patch is available and has been included in recent Ubuntu kernel updates. Users should apply the official kernel updates to remediate this vulnerability. No additional mitigation actions are indicated by the vendor advisory.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's XFRM subsystem caused MIGRATE notifications to be incorrectly routed to the initial network namespace (init_net) instead of the caller's network namespace. This could lead to migration events being leaked across network namespaces. The issue affects multiple Linux kernel versions prior to specific patched releases. A patch is available and included in recent Ubuntu kernel updates.
