What to do
AI-suggested
A fix has been applied to the Linux kernel source code to add a zero check before division in the affected function. Users should update to the fixed kernel version once available. No other mitigation steps are indicated.
Description
A division by zero vulnerability was identified and fixed in the Linux kernel's iio chemical scd30 driver. The flaw occurs when a user writes a zero fractional part to the sampling_frequency sysfs attribute, causing a division by zero error in the kernel.
