An official fix is available and should be applied. The vulnerability has been resolved in updated Linux kernel versions. Users should update to the fixed kernel versions to prevent crashes caused by this issue.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Microsoft Azure Network Adapter (MANA) driver could cause a NULL pointer dereference during queue teardown when mana_detach() is called redundantly on an already detached port. This issue arises when the queue reset handler runs after a previous detach succeeded but attach failed, leaving the port in a detached state with freed resources. The flaw has been fixed by adding an early exit in mana_detach() to make the detach operation idempotent, preventing crashes during recovery paths.
